Mission
The purpose and goals of our annual Summer Shakespeare productions centre around bringing the timeless and relatable works of William Shakespeare to audiences across the wider Timaru district in an engaging and accessible way. This will ultimately create a shared community experience that strengthens
our districts relationship to the arts.
Aidan Theatre’s Summer Shakespeare productions aim to foster a sense of community, drawing in individuals who may not normally
attend theatrical performances, and nurturing relationships with local creatives in the Timaru region.
Aidan Theatre strives to provide inclusive opportunities for our local community to engage and connect with the arts, by breaking down financial, social, and geographical boundaries.
